Established
in 2008, JWC is led by
Suzanne Jefferies.
Suzanne
Jefferies
Suzanne’s
work experience has included
Public Relations for F1 Powerboating and V8 racing, market research as
well as
magazine editing on a South African Trade monthly publication, which
she
developed and launched. Experience as a communications consultant
proved
invaluable, working with clients such as Microsoft, Coca-Cola and MARS.
In
addition, Suzanne has worked as a
Derivatives Dealer trading on the South African Futures Exchange. She
has
taught English, as well as lectured at WITS in English as a Foreign
Language. A
passion for films led to a stint in film making in the U.K.
Trained
in NLP, as part of a Psychology
Honours degree, Suzanne co-facilitated and led various effective
communication
workshops both in South Africa and in the UK. An interest in politics
and
policy led to a Master’s degree at Wits University. Prior to launching
JWC, she
worked in the fields of policy research for the South African
Presidency and
wrote journal articles on various South African policy issues,
including the
Minibus Taxi industry.

Alison
Jefferies
Alison
Jefferies has over 40 years of
experience in writing, editing and proof-reading, and has undertaken
work for
organisations as diverse as the British Welding Institute and the
Economic
Truth Commission. Her
experience is sector-wide including NGO’s, Legal Firms and Government.
An
expert in the English language, Alison’s razor-sharp attention to
detail
ensures that all copy is accurate. Combined with her flair for
expression,
results in copy solutions that are on-point and sparkling.
